VOCATIONAL SERVICES
We Create Peace partners with Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation to provide services to their clients. These services include career exploration, work assessments, and job development. When seeking our services the first step is often contacting Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) directly and requesting a referral to work with us.
When We Create Peace partners with a client we work in a number of ways to both help the client identify their interests, strengths and ideas around employment. Additionally, we work to identify what the job market is and what employers are looking for in order to help participants with their candidacy. We also work to develop informational interviews and short term work experiences for people who might not know what employment is the right fit for them.
After a client obtains a job, we also work alongside them to retain their position. This typically lasts for 90 days and can be done with onsite coaching, offsite support, or both.
LONG TERM SERVICES
We Create Peace partners with the State of Oregon Office of Developmental Disabilities Services in providing long term job coaching to clients. Our services include onsite and offsite job coaching to help clients maintain and grow in their careers. Most of our Long Term Services clients have partnered with We Create Peace in the Vocational Rehabilitation process and are already familiar with the practices and values of We Create Peace.
Whether it’s helping increase independence in job tasks, support with communication to a manager/coworker, or problem solving an issue at work, a We Create Peace job coach is there to provide work related solutions.
Mediation / consulting
We Create Peace within people, places and systems by bringing unchanging values and creative solutions. In business, we provide processes to improve communication within the organization and creative solutions for your people.
